Akoya and Silver
Akoya pearls, produced by small Japanese oysters, Pinctada imbricate = martensi, fucata, are implanted with spherical beads carved out of natural shell resulting in pearls that are characteristically round. Most Akoyas are white to grey with pink, green or silver overtones.
We have three Baroque pearl variations here.
Pearl is 8mm with silver beads. Length, not including hooks, approx. 20mm
Pearl is around 9mm with clear quartz and silver ball. Length, not including hooks, approx. 20mm
Pearl is around 8.5mm with silver and on studs. Length, approx. 18mm.
